We lived down the hill from the Royal Palace and Royal Cathedral, across the street from Casa de Campo

Definitely a must see. It is so magnificent. The hall of mirrors is amazing and the gardens are of course, so beautiful.

Our car got stuck when we rode it, stopping for a driver who decided to run a red light. Can't stop those cars suddenly or else they lock up. We had to walk the rest of the way, fortunately it was on the way down to the Wharf.

Planning my trip next year to the UK I am adding this to my trip.

This is a memorial to the deported that is directly behind Notre Dame--right near everything you want to see, but strangely not on most people's tourist map. It's wonderful. Reading the plaque outside before going in is important...that way you understand all of the symbolism.

Another Paris Walks walking tour took us here. Will never forget.
