If you're staying in South Lake Tahoe, you'll want to ski Heavenly... it's on that side of the lake. On the north side, you'll have Squaw Valley and some other smaller mountains too.
Tybee Island is a coastal island outside of Savannah. If you guys feel like getting out of town, its a nice drive out there. Along the way, stop at The Crab Shack. Looks like a tourist trap, but i think its a great place to have a beer.
The pantheon feels most special when you get to experience with few people around... There's no lines, but there are people here all the time so it's another one of the places that you might consider checking out early in the day...
