We went to the Empire State Building late at night (maybe 11 or 11:30). We walked down after we saw Jersey Boys. It was perfect because there were no lines....but you could see all the ropes for the queues, and they went on forever!!

I enjoyed it. I see all of my repeated attempts at recommendations have now shown up. Wish I could remove them.

Amazing to think that the Regent paid for the construction of these buildings in the mid-1770s in part with a tax on the Colonies, including levies on things like tea. the best street in the world for its Xmas lights displays

enjoyed the architecture and construction. Kids enjoyed doing the "rubbings". They still have them framed in their homes.

Lots of small spaces where famous people are remembered, then it opens to the large open space in the photo.
