I love a fellow rebellious type and the "Corks" are the ultimate scrappy locals. They consider Cork to be the real capital of Ireland and actually refer to themselves as The Rebels. Gotta go there.
This is a vacation all by itself, one could spend months in here, Don't sit outside and lean on the glass pyramid, It is'nt allowed as we found out., even for a picture.
Some places only get better with time and the Alamo and Downtown SA fit that bill, a birthplace of Texas Independance rich with the history of the stugle for Freedom and a vibrant and growing Downtown full of good food, cold drinks and friendly people !!
