Founded in the 14th-15th centuries, Hahoe and Yangdong are seen as the two most representative historic clan villages in the Republic of Korea. They are also one of 10 World Heritage Sites in Korea!
and St Patricks Cathedral is gorgeous and close. You can actually go in while service is going on and hang out in back...I took pics. Not sure if your allowed but I did :)
Despite having grown up in the city, I didn't discover their pier until my friends and I decided to take an epic ten hour walk across the city last year. I loved it so much that I've been back several days. Such lovely views of the water and city when it's nice out.

There are a few great beaches around here. Next door is a place famed for rock climbing (directly over the beach!). And there are some lovely little beaches etc. Apparently you can also get boats out to Ko Phi Phi which is supposed to be stunning.
