The tomb or the Hierotheseion of Nemrut Dağ bears unique testimony to the civilization of the kingdom of Commagene. It dates back to 69-34 B.C. and is one of 10 World Heritage Sites in Turkey!
This probably won't come as a big surprise to anyone, but the flower carpet tradition was started by the owner of a begonia company. Amazingly, once the basic outline is put in place, it takes workers only four hours to put the flowers in place!

This is a spectacular waterfall, especially in the spring when water levels are the highest. Hike up is fairly easy, however it gets crowded on the trail, so it won't feel totally "adventurous".
