This beautiful square right next to the Marais is my favorite spot in Paris. And, there are great shops, a couple of restaurants, and interesting history. Take a break there and breathe.
Murray's is one of my favorite stores in the city. It's relatively small and always incredibly crowded so if you're claustrophobic forget it. They have this great glass cabinet in the back where you can see the cheese aging (at least that's what I assume it's doing back there).
Stayed in the fairytale room here years ago -- the rooms are done on the dewy decimal system! Loved it. You already have a hotel - but they do a little cocktail hour with live pianist that you could stop in for.
Forget your jodhpurs and tack for that weekend ride in the Hamptons? This place has all the equestrian supplies you'll need (even if you have no intention of ever getting on an actual horse.)

Hipster stuff aside, this place actually has the best Pizza I've had in New York. That's say a LOT. Also, the atmosphere is unique and has a great vibe.
While the club is experiencing a bit of, ummm, upheaval at the moment (which is a nice way of saying scandal), it offers some really, really great programs and speakers, many of which are open to the general public.
