This is a restaurant that sits on a lake (not to be confused with the little lake that rents out electric boats) and is one of the more beautiful places to get a drink and relax in the city (food is good too). I've been here on sunny days, during torrential downpours and during winter, and its been enjoyable every time. I love this place.…see moresee less
Nice place to stay but we left some clothes behind, called an hour later and they were gone. Never got them back. Had the Warldorf Salad in the Bull & Bear restaurant
LOVE this part of town - such a great vibe... combo of hipster, hippy and just overall one of the coolest places I've ever been. Been years since I was in the city, so I've forgotten restaurants, but you can stumble into spot there and have a very New York experience ;)
Even if you hate shopping missing Bergdorf's is like missing the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They are to retail what Michelangelo was to marble so make sure you see it. Their window displays at Christmas are second to none.
go here. bottom line. I like to walk through Central Park and end up here for lunch in the cafe. After the walk up there you'll enjoy how cool it is. They "request" $20 at the door as a donation. i've never tried, but i'm sure you can bypass that, but i'd recommend putting something in the pot. Let's keep this place cool!!…see moresee less
I'm not someone who's particularly into bridges but every time I see the Brooklyn Bridge I get chills. It takes about an hour or so to walk across it making it one of the best free attractions in the city.
have seen this in several TV shows and looks like a really interesting place to see the past and the future of transportation...still moving people now but in a walking and peaceful trail
