Oh, oh, oh!!! Of all the bridges in Paris, this one is by far the most beautiful. If you are in the city and it starts to rain, drop what you're doing and get over there so you can take a picture. Seriously, it is gorgeous beyond words.
This is the Yankee Stadium of flea markets and hallowed ground as far as I'm concerned. I come here on every trip without fail. Prices are steep unless you hit the junkier street vendors at the very, very end of the market who I don't even think are supposed to be there. This is the Fontaine de Medicis and my favorite place in the park. You can pull up a little green chair and read or just relax for hours which is exactly what I used to do. Make sure not to miss the other side of this monument (facing the street). It's just as beautiful as the front.
