This B&B is too good to be true... this giant beagle is actually THE B&B. You enter via a staircase to his body & there's a little hideaway in his muzzle. Genius architecture.

They've redone the lobby since we stayed there a few years back and it's nice. They have a little boat that takes you around... kind of a Disneyland feel to it. Probably more fun with young kids.

one of the best resorts in palm desert! there is a lake in the middle of the hotel with swans and free boat rides! golf courses, restaurants, and several huge pools. you don't even have to leave the grounds and there is a ton to do there.

i stayed here for a weekend and never left the hotel property. there is so much to do. The boat rides are really cool. the restaurant mikado is Japanese steakhouse where they cook in front of you and toss knives in the air, etc. It's not to be missed. Food is awesome. Hop on the boat and take the canal ride before dinner. It's a lovely way to catch the desert sunset.

maui was beautiful and they have lots of great hotels right on the beach. it reminded me a lot of malibu.

Definitely take some time to walk around the mall. It's quite large, but I'd recommend heading over in the direction of the capitol, or going over to the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Memorial area.

I've been to Washington, D.C. several tmes, but I've never been able to get inside the Whitehouse. One of these days!

If you have some connections do the West Wing tour over the East wing. Its more exclusive and you get to see the cool stuff!
