I can see this out of the window out of the cafe that I'm coworking at right now!

It's touristy - but its actually really cool. I just took my nephew after not having been there for a decade or more. Sorta spendy, but the restaurant up top has done a full 180 and is actually quite good.

We bought a sandwich on top and enjoyed the view.

Hey Melissa! As you know we just went to Dland for probably the 10th time. My kids absolutely love it and I think 5 is a good age for it. Any younger and they miss out on a lot of fun. If she's adventurous, the Indiana Jones ride is one of my favorites, followed by The Matterhorn, but they are fast Hey Melissa! As you know we just went to Dland for probably the 10th time. The Jedi Training is AWESOME especially if she gets picked - try to yell that it's her birthday! Get FAST Passes for anything you really want to see. Go as EARLY as you can and do all the rides that have long lines first thing because otherwise you will end up waiting a lot. Pirates of the Carribean is great, as is Small World for younger kids. Alice & Wonderland, Teacups, Dumbo and Storybook Boat Ride are all fun and good for any age. If you have extra time, check out Innovations? or Innoventions, but you may not get to it on this time around. If you can stay for the parade and fireworks, it's amazing. If she gets tired and won't make it that long, consider going somewhere for a mid-day nap so she can stay up late. Some of the rides are more fun to go on at night when things are lit up. Haven't been here yet, but hear great things about it. Sort of like a Disneyland for science. It's highly interactive and fun with more than one person, so it's perfect for you and your partner!

High above the Strip at the top of the Stratosphere Tower are three major thrill rides that will scare the bejeezus out of you, especially if you have even the slightest fear of heights.

There is also a really good restaurant at the top of the tower....the area is kind of ghetto though
