I stayed at Caliber Hotel paid $120 a night, its not fancy however its right on Ocean Drive, the music they play is Electro House all day, which is up m alley : ) Mansion club is good on Sat, its pricey $50 just to get in. Must arrive early, its always better to be on the list, or find a Limo service, in the end Limo riding to clubs turns out cheaper than just showing up. Sexy people, great weather, lots of electro house... All in all super fun time.…see moresee less
This place gives me chills; the scale of it is just breathtaking. When you're here make sure to press your heel into the bull's private parts--you'll see when you get there. ;)
Navigating the area around the fountain can be confusing...finding it, as if you were lost and unexpectedly came upon it is most satisfying... Maybe explore the area rather than explicitly planning on seeing it?
Yes, but the dream can be a nightmare in August at 95 degrees and people cramming that beautiful hallway of art shoulder to shoulder. BY the way At that time of year once you get in, there s no way out so count on hours of human traffic jams and peering over shoulders to get a glimpse of art.
Takes at least half a day if not longer. But ABSOLUTELY worth it. Make sure you do a guided tour. Well worth the price. the coliseum was awesome to see in person. i suggest buying tickets online in advance if you would like to avoid the very long ticket buying line. we used the rick steves audio tour to learn about the most important coliseum facts.
