I've been to countless dinners at Indochine. It does asian fusion really well.

With a little patience you should be able to walk in here too. Never had a bad meal at Ssam Bar.

If you go, make sure to order the Pork Buns and the Spicy Pork Sausage with Rice Cakes. It's all amazing and unusual and unique.

When a bar has its own absinthe menu you know you're in good hands. This is an adorable little place in Brooklyn--they also have oysters if that tickles your fancy.

Fuggedaboutit!!! This place has everything so come with plenty of bargaining cash! It's only a few years old but it's already the place where those of us who mourn the death of the 26th street flea markets come to grieve.

The crowds can be awful but you've got to see it. Personally I think the gardens are more interesting than the palace. Just make sure you check the fountain schedule on their site as the famous fountains are not always in use and you want to be sure to be there when they are.

I swear that Doug and Bryan of Big Gay Ice Cream are having more fun than anyone I know in the food biz. These guys have a stellar product (soft serve ice cream and other homemade treats) and are two of the funniest people I've met in awhile.
