These are actually the roots of the trees, not the trees themselves. The temple was built in the 12th century and was abandoned in the 1400s. It wasn't until the 19th century that it was "discovered" by archeologists.
Another Frank Gehry design (no surprise) that was a collaboration with the architect Vlado Mulunik. I love the concept this, of creating a building meant NOT to fit in. When I look at it I think of my tight jeans I every once and a while try to squeeze into and well... it looks a lot like this.

Wenn Wetter ist, auf jeden Fall einfach mal drin rumliegen. Total schön. Die Princes Street ist direkt daneben, da kannst Du Dich totshoppen. auch wenn die Läden die gleichen sind wie bei uns, nur teurer.
I would recommend you come to the Blue Lagoon directly from the airport if your flight arrives at 7,8,9 in the morning. Hotel Check-in is not until 3pm and this place will relax your mind a body from the over night flight.
