oh and if u do go here...i think there are 2 trails...waterfall trail and suspension bridget trail...we went on the waterfall trail.... it was less crowded :)
The cloud Forest trek was really cool. Its about 3 hours. GET A GUIDE...the GUIDE will show you things that you will not see otherwise....out guide cost us 17 per person...and i think the entrance fee was 17 per person (unless you had student id)...If you stay at the raimbow valley lodge then the The cloud Forest trek was really cool. My sister and I went to the SPA at Baldi. I recommend it with a caveat. My sense was it was not the nicest spa in the area; however, there is an AMAZING water slide at this place! Go early to the Central Market before it gets hot and crowded. Have a cafe, buy recommended cheese, prosciutto, fruit - have a picnic later in the day.
O...M...G!!! One of the best museums EVER!!! I could have stayed here for hours. That said, I wouldn't go in the winter as one of the best parts is the garden. Absolutely stunning. It's where they keep the "Gates of Hell" that supposedly destroyed Rodin because he felt he couldn't get it right. Not O...M...G!!! One of the best museums EVER!!! I could have stayed here for hours. George Whitman, the famous owner (that's not really the right word--curator is more accurate) went to that big bookstore in the sky recently (he was two days away from his 98th birthday), but hopefully the store will still retain it's charm and traditions. If you want a true Parisian adventure, you can sleep in the store for a night in exchange for a little housekeeping. Good old George once tried to convince me to spend the day in one of the store's little reading nooks/beds reading a book I wanted to buy so I wouldn't have to spend the money, but I wanted the little Shakespeare & Co. stamp he placed on every book purchased from there so I bought it. He sure as hell helped an awful lot of travelers, tourists, Parisians, and probably homeless people through the years and I try to always purchase something from here to assure it stays alive especially now that George is gone.…see moresee less
