My future son-in-law gave us the grand tour of NYC. He is from Long Island, so he knows his way around very well. As well as the places to go to and stay away from.
I recommend we hit up the Diamond Head Lookout. There's a hike, but I think there's also just a general lookout trail that leads to the top of the crater and a lookout peak that has amazing views. From Tu Nguyen - Pretty obligatory if you're visiting O'ahu. They usually have live performances of local bands on their main stage, so it's nice to enjoy as you're walking through the mall.
