This is a great zoo. Again, it's entirely free, has lots of animals and is newly renovated. Highly recommend this one for the Audrey.

Oh good. We are staying Old towne Alexaandria so I'm hoping to see cute stuff around there.

Not sure of the logic behind combining Georgetown and Alexandria. Alexandria is in VA. Anyway, I've been to both.

Definitely take some time to walk around the mall. It's quite large, but I'd recommend heading over in the direction of the capitol, or going over to the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Memorial area.

Stopping at the overlooks on both sides of the bridge is always fun and awe-inspiring! Then, drop down to Sausalito for a nice lunch on the Bay, gelato afterwards, and then onwards with the road trip...

First time I had N.E. clam chowder and I'm FROM New England!

Boudin's sourdough bread bowl of chowder. Lact-ovo vegetarioan friendly option tomato bisque, although croutons seem redundant in a bread bowl, they are crispy delicious.

I was breathless when walking along the wall....it was so quiet even with all the people there. Lots of crying and names being traced. I'll never ever forget that feeling of complete sadness in the pit of my stomach.

The Halloween parade happens on Front Street between the Cannery Mall and all the way til the Banyan tree. It's pretty much like a huge mardis gras or carnaval party on the street and in the bars and restaurants. You should forget about driving and take the bus to the Cannery Mall around sunset.

This tree is really cool to see. There are great shops nearby as well to browse.

A great tour that they will always remember the MONEY!!!

Plan on going back for at least a week.

My sister and I climbed to the top at ages 6 and 12.

Loved it and so did my family! Highly recommend going but make sure you get the meal plan.
