Always wanted to see this bookstore. Much of the design was inspired by Galeries Lafayette and you can really see the similarities.

We went and walked around to check out everything, but tbh, i'm not that into all the torture devices, so it wasn't that compelling to me.

Spent a whole day here and could have spent many more. It's not cheap and there's a lot to see so I would start early in the day. The crown jewels are just incredible and everything is displayed so well.

Instead of going as a tourist, go when they're having mass or evensong or any other event. The singing there is magical, and you feel part of the place, the history.

it's worth looking at just from below...I did not plan ahead, but the wait to go up in the tower was super long. We just went to Montmartre instead and that was breathtaking.
