Instead of going as a tourist, go when they're having mass or evensong or any other event. The singing there is magical, and you feel part of the place, the history.

Westminster Abbey

quando è bel tempo è stupendo fare una passeggiata da Westminster, attraversare il Westminster Bridge (quindi arrivi davanti al London Eye) e costeggiare tutto il Tamigi fino ad arrivare alla Tate Modern, visitarla (dal settimo piano vedi un panorama stupendo) poi attraversare il Millennium Bridge quando è bel tempo è stupendo fare una passeggiata da Westminster, attraversare il Westminster Bridge (quindi arrivi davanti al London Eye) e costeggiare tutto il Tamigi fino ad arrivare alla Tate Modern, visitarla (dal settimo piano vedi un panorama stupendo) poi attraversare il Millennium Bridge ed arrivare fino alla St Paul's Cathedral.… see moresee less

The food hall here is must. It's really cool and a great place to grab lunch. Closest comparison would be the Ferry Building in SF, but more food to order/eat right there. You'll dig it.
