Seems almost impossible to believe but this waterfall wasn't discovered until the early 50s. Definitely going on my must-see list.

They have glass coffee tables that allow you to see right through to the ocean. Bet they're not big on coffee table books.

This was built in 1925 and remains a lovely, scenic place for a ceremony. Plan carefully, though; they only allow wedding during certain parts of the year.

This is a hike on the coast of Kauai. Starts on the north side of the island ad It is absolutely beautiful! It's about 11 miles and ends at a private beach. I highly suggest this!

Of all the hikes on my hikes page this is the one I'd most like to do, although it's more trek than hike. This is a functioning monastery that's about 500 years old. Amazing.

Many mysteries of the Maya astronomical calendar are made clear when one understands the design of the ‘time temples’ here. Other than a few minor passageways, climbing on the structures is not allowed.

Love the lines of this and how it looks completely different depending on angle. It's actually located pretty deep in the woods which somehow makes it even more mysterious.
