This was my introduction to Chicago deep-dish/stuffed pizza and it was love at first bite. If I were exiled to some remote island and could only take one food item with me, well shoot, this would be it. Gotta get it with the extra tomatoes and artichoke hearts.

If you are acting your age and not throwing down like JR usually does on this weekend you'll dig this place.... Make sure to come back in the morning for Farmers Market and a great Sunday vibe.

They're open till 3 AM! Perfect for after all the bars close in the Mission ;)

Best post-bar grub in the Mission!

The 24th and Mission location is where I managed to snag a quesadilla 4x the size of my head -- the quesadilla para dos is actually more like quesadilla para ocho! Oh, and their green sauce is amazing, especially at 3 AM.

Sadly degraded to a commercial hodge podge with little of interest

reservations are a must for lunch or dinner. I always end up fighting for a seat at the bar because i don't get a reservation. Get the green papaya salad, shaking beef and clay pot chicken... those are the staples. after that, experiment a bit... you can't go wrong.

This place is amazing, though it can be kind of touristy. It's fun to dress up and just enjoy the atmosphere!

one of the true old school places in SF. choices are prime rib, prime rib, or prime rib

But there's great asian food in SF.

It's impossible to go here without leaving with the cookbook in hand. A must visit.

When we went here, we arrived 30 minutes prior to opening and there was quite a long line; I think we waited almost 45 minutes. If you're into baked goods and pastries, it's worth the wait. I liked their banana cream pie but it's big!

i cannot emphasize this enough. it's also next to dolores park and you can see the city from there.

The best ube ice cream I've ever had. They have a fantastic selection of other exotic flavors as well. Rain or shine, there's usually a wait and you have to grab a number!

This place could get me to swim every day! There have actually been 25 world records set here.

I'd insist on wearing a 1920s bathing suit to swim here.
