agreed with peter. don't take this zoo for granted. it craps on our LA zoo, no joke. don't sleep on this if you haven't been. pay for the sky ride/bus tour, it's worth it -- see animals while you hop from one side of the park to the next.
War Horse or Wicked would be my preference, but if nobody is interested in either of those, I could be talked into being dragged along to one of the others.
This ferry is free. It would be a good way of getting a good ( and free ) look at the Statue of Liberty as we go past it. Little point going to Liberty Island itself, as the Statue of Liberty will be closed for renovations when we're there. That said, I'm not sure what there'd be to do on Staten This ferry is free. such a great view of the statue but also of the new 9/11 buildings going up as well as the end of Manhattan. Parking was on 8 dollars for the day on the Staten Island side. We stayed in NJ.
