This is a GREAT hike and a must do in Hawaii. My favorite thing is to be there at sunrise, as there's nothing quite like it. Keep in mind it will be very cold, so take blankets from the hotel or bring a warm jacket. It can be in the 30's in the morning.
This place is gorgeous! They have an amazing array of plants and flowers and then, after you're done, you can have some delicious tea and look out at a koi pond.
One of the most iconic markets in the country. I could spend a month here. Be sure to check out Mee Sum Pastry, Gourmet Dog Japon and the Oriental Mart Grocery and Kitchenette.
This has gotten a lot of flack over the years but I'm kind of into it. Also kind of cool that this museum combines music and science fiction. And what other museum hosts exhibits about both Bing Crosby and Queensryche.
O...M...G!!! One of the best museums EVER!!! I could have stayed here for hours. That said, I wouldn't go in the winter as one of the best parts is the garden. Absolutely stunning.
