This is a GREAT visit. Just try and get there early morning for most activity. If you land in the afternoon, the bison will be chilling out due to the high sun. One of the last great Tiki Bars in America.

This is a highlight in the Golden Gate Park. Admission is $7, but it's a gorgeous garden and right next to the De Young Museum.

This place is gorgeous! They have an amazing array of plants and flowers and then, after you're done, you can have some delicious tea and look out at a koi pond.

Hah, 250? Really? I'm such a light-weight (silver lining = cheap date) I probably would be good to go with just one drink. Though I do love themed bars!

250 rums, pirate themed and yes, you should NOT drive here and get there early because it's super small (capacity at 49) and gets full quick. Also, voted one of the best bars in the country....need I say more or did I have you at pirates?

This is a great free place to go for an hour. You see some history of San Francisco, get to see the machines that make the system work, and after that you are in Chinatown, so can get some awesome food nearby.

It is dirty, and not much to see, It is overrated. Just a hippy hangout in the 70;s

Be sure to barter with the shop keepers. You can usually talk them down in price. Good food.
