This is a great free place to go for an hour. You see some history of San Francisco, get to see the machines that make the system work, and after that you are in Chinatown, so can get some awesome food nearby.

The view of the city & golden gate bridge from the battery is amazing.

You can go look at all the pretty boats! I fell in love with Sausalito. Great little artist community.

Full size Dutch windmill? Bison herd? Ending at the Pacific Ocean? Of course!

Such a beautiful park located right on San Francisco Bay. I always want to watch a homer fly into the water. If you’re here you’ve got to try the Gilroy Garlic Fries. There is nothing like them anywhere else. Warning: they've got some kick!

Stopping at the overlooks on both sides of the bridge is always fun and awe-inspiring! Then, drop down to Sausalito for a nice lunch on the Bay, gelato afterwards, and then onwards with the road trip...

I found out I was pretty afraid of heights walking up here. Only got halfway across, before I told my friends we should head back.

i'm afraid to say i was disappointed eating the Chinese food in one of the Chinese Restaurants here.

the trip we made 25 years ago was 100 times better than the one we made 5 years ago. sadly, time moves on...
