great place to have drinks and watch the sunset. Get there early. Seems like it's always crowded. there are tables that look right out onto the ocean.

the atmosphere is wonderful. Part of it is open air with views of the fish in the lagoon. The food was good but not the best we had on the island. Definitely a Hawaiian experience.

love that is had an "old Hawaii" feel to it. Yes, some things needed updated. But oh the fresh pineapple for breakfast.

we really liked the beach in front of this resort. Saw turtles and many fish.

loved the big drinks! Food was meh. Show was so much fun!

took a half day trip to snorkel and dive. Go in the morning. The trade winds really pick up in the afternoon. Actually that is true all over Maui. Better snorkeling in the morning.

the black sand is amazing. And most people don't know there are little cabins to rent. But plan a year out to get one. Really is a piece of paradise.

even if you choose not to stay take time to walk the gardens, visit the chapel and have breakfast. Just beautiful.

great displays and very interactive. Loved it.

the designer/architect did a wonderful job of capturing the reverence of the place. never forget. The museum isn't open yet. We'll have to go again.
