Montmarte is my favorite place in Paris

This place could get me to swim every day!

I'd insist on wearing a 1920s bathing suit to swim here.

Go on early on a weekday out of season. The woods can become choked with noisy tourists on summer weekends.

This place is amazing, though it can be kind of touristy. It's fun to dress up and just enjoy the atmosphere!

Haven't been here yet, but hear great things about it. Sort of like a Disneyland for science. It's highly interactive and fun with more than one person, so it's perfect for you and your partner!

This is a highlight in the Golden Gate Park. Admission is $7, but it's a gorgeous garden and right next to the De Young Museum.

This place is gorgeous! They have an amazing array of plants and flowers and then, after you're done, you can have some delicious tea and look out at a koi pond.

I never feel as if I've arrived in Paris until 1) I've smelled the diesel fuel in the metro and 2) I have shoes covered in white powder from the gravel at the Tuileries. Really there are no words for how breathtaking the stretch from the Louvre to the Place de la Concorde is. I had a chance to visit the White House during the Obama family's first Christmas. The rooms are surprisingly small.

Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

You got to go see the show Wicked! I heard great things about it. It's supposed to be the prelude to the Wizard of Oz.

We went to the Empire State Building late at night (maybe 11 or 11:30). We walked down after we saw Jersey Boys. It was perfect because there were no lines....but you could see all the ropes for the queues, and they went on forever!!

I enjoyed it. I see all of my repeated attempts at recommendations have now shown up. Wish I could remove them.

Sigh.....not nearly enough time was spent here!

Magnificent. It is located near the French Quarter with Hot Jazz at Le Cave. There is a cafe across from Notre Dame that is open 24 hours.
