Can't remember who I saw, but partied hard.

amsterdam has some great entertainment. and it might not be well know but that have some excellent improv comedy. some of the best troupes from the us are sent there for special shows.

PS the art museum is usually excellent, but it varies by who's exhibiting.

Specifically, the Art Museum, and Tokyo City View. Try to get up there for sunset on a clear day - pretty breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo generally and most certainly the best skyline view of Tokyo until SkyTree opens. I am fascinated by this place. need to go.

If you love sushi, this is the place to go. Downside is you have to get there before sunrise, basically. WORTH IT!

Awesome place 1 station past Shinagawa station... Amazing story of the 47 Ronin Samurai and their code of honor took place at this temple. Best part is, nobody really goes here. It'll get REALLY busy after next year when they release the movie about it starring Keanu Reeves. Questions? Ask away.

Amazing Indonesian food

Great North African Food - Lots of vegetarian options. its in an old temple (the neighborhood is also very cute, its a little off the beaten path).

Wonderful Bakery/ Lunch place ( they have local organic salads, jams, etc.)

My favorite coffee shop. Tasteful atmosphere. Friendly staff and wide selection (for in coffeehouse or take away) that includes some mild stuff for lightweight smokers like me.
