Tasty pizza in SOMA and as someone with a sweet tooth, I'm really excited about their build-your-own dessert!

They have a themed "beast of the week". The last time I went, they had rabbit and had the most amazing rabbit chowder and pulled rabbit sliders. Their happy hour is also fantastic.

Cool, Chinese dive bar. Occasionally has shows in the basement. They're known for their mai tais that'll knock you out, but I personally find them too sweet. Everything else, though -- strong pours ;)

Cheap, stiff drinks in Chinatown. And that basement -- oh my. Definitely a San Francisco institution.

My guilty pleasure. Seeing as it's open till 3 AM, it's perfect for late-night grubbing when all the bars are closed. This is where I managed to snag a quesadilla 4x the size of my head -- the quesadilla para dos is actually more like quesadilla para ocho! FYI, their green sauce is amazing.

This place is gorgeous! They have an amazing array of plants and flowers and then, after you're done, you can have some delicious tea and look out at a koi pond.

Alcatraz - SF

Been to San Fransico but was unble to take the tour to see Alcatraz.

This is a great free place to go for an hour. You see some history of San Francisco, get to see the machines that make the system work, and after that you are in Chinatown, so can get some awesome food nearby.

A SF favorite, especially among the tech community. Great for tea and some coworking.

If you're a theater or ballet person, this place is a must. Incredibly inventive exhibits.

Go here on a Saturday morning for the Farmer's Market

What's not to like? Full of incredibly delicious things to eat or take home. Yum.

Ferry Building - SF

Several times and always fun

Built in the shape of a fireman's hose as a memorial to firefighters from the 1906 earthquake. You can either drive or walk to the top of the hill then climb the tower.
