Just got back

We were there last summer.

Sloane will dig all the sights and sounds, even at her age. We got Tatum an awesome hat there that she plays with to this day. Makes for great pics too.

One of my favorite beaches ever. The white fine grain sand just feels luxurious to lounge on.

This beach is great for surfing and for tide pools.

It screams... GLADIATOR! What man wouldn't want to go and check out the birthplace of blood sports?

I'd recommend this over the Santa Monica Pier since it's probably going to be freezing and cloudy at this time of year. At the end of 3rd St. is the newly renovated open-air mall which is quite gorgeous and has a very nice food court with fancy schmancy restaurants at the top level.
