Back in good old 2007 you could party here 22 hours a day on Sundays! Twice in recent years voted THE NUMBER ONE CLUB ON EARTH by the readers & DJ's of DJ Magazine!
One of my favorite ballparks in the country. The lights, the Green Monster, it's just fantastic. Before the game, I try to stop by the vendors on Lansdowne Street for an Italian sausage. They're made on flat griddles and loaded with onions, peppers and tasty sauces.
A sprawling pink palace straddling a hill between the harbor and the ocean, the Fairmont Southampton is truly a grand hotel: The property is on 100 acres, and there are 593 rooms and suites.
some of the best mexican food in the country is in san diego. a quite a bit of it is in old town. look for the mom and pop places, the little hole in the walls, those places are often the best. one place, ortegas in la jolla....a tiny little place has the best carne asada i've ever had.
So much fun to step back in history with an afternoon at Old Town San Diego. Fun shops at Bazaar Del Mundo offer knick knacks and the like. A must -- grabbing a margarita at any of the restaurants (Casa Guadalajara for one) and people watching.
this place is a lot of fun. you can do it up real nice and go to the fancy turf club, wear a big hat and rub elbows with the upper crust. or you hang out with the degenerates in the bleachers. both satisfying. although i'd recommend not rubbing elbows with degenerates, some of them look like this place is a lot of fun. you can do it up real nice and go to the fancy turf club, wear a big hat and rub elbows with the upper crust. or you hang out with the degenerates in the bleachers. both satisfying. although i'd recommend not rubbing elbows with degenerates, some of them look like they have lice.…see moresee less
This is an absolute must! 15-20 minute drive south of downtown. It's cash only by the way. They make their own wine there and have a bocce ball court as well.
Flagship whole foods with a great buffet like world food selection. take your meal upstairs on the patio for a unique view. You CAN drink wine & beer up here, but come prepared with your own cups/bottle openers.
The Narrows, Texas. Upper south side of Lake Travis near the community of Spicewood. From Austin take Texas 71, turn north on Spur 191, and proceed approximately one mile to Spicewood. Continue traveling north 1.1 miles on Burnet County Road 410 to CR 411, which is a gravel road. Proceed The Narrows, Texas. Upper south side of Lake Travis near the community of Spicewood. Hey I know, forget the professional bullfighters, let's a group of us just run like crazy people and freak out these hot-nostrilled, stomping, very large bulls. You in?
Floated the Colorado River with the family. One of the best experiences ever. Ride was excellerating and the food and entertainment were mind boggling. Make sure you hit all the big rapidsl.
Somehow every time I've made this drive I've screwed up and ended up driving at night...and yet somehow it was still stunning. Not a ton of diversity in it (not like you'll be going through lots of towns or residential areas), but it's still gorgeous.
This place is really cool- great seating and amazing, fresh, local food. I have to tell you that I'm majorly biased since I know the chef but, it is still a great spot!
Nobu is such a well known name i almost feel obligated to go here. The food is good, but there is something about the place that doesn't make seem as special as Nobu should be.... maybe because it's in the Hard Rock Hotel. I've also found the staff to be on the snobby side. But as far as sushi in Nobu is such a well known name i almost feel obligated to go here.
