It pains me to say this because I love Bastille Day, but this is the LAST place you want to be for the celebrations. It can get really crazy and almost violent. Go see the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower instead. It's much more fun and much more beautiful. AMAZING!!!

The pantheon feels most special when you get to experience with few people around... There's no lines, but there are people here all the time so it's another one of the places that you might consider checking out early in the day...
