This is an adorable little museum that's only been open for a few years. It looks like a little fairyland inside and they feature everything from toy soldiers to dollhouses.
The owner of this store is known for choosing all the toys here himself. Lots for adults, too, like their "Anti-Monopoly" game that's let's capitalistically oriented than real Monopoly. Obviously he chooses them with a sense of humor!
The last time I came here I walked in about noon and came out some time in the late afternoon--and it's not even that big! This is THE place to go if you have little ones in your life and you're tired of looking at the same old same old toys.
Part of the 826 Valencia project, this is where most pirates I know go for extra hooks, eye patches, and pegleg fittings. If you have a little pirate in your life you might want to pay a visit here.
Personally, I find this place to be a bit of a zoo, but if I were I kid I'd probably want to live here. Good luck finding a toy they don't have. Not only is this one of the most famous toy stores in Paris, it's one of the most famous stores, period! They have some really, really elegant things here--things a lot of adults would love to have! I can never resist having a little peek when I'm in town!
