Given that this is where the shooting events will take place these little dots almost look like bullet holes! Love the innovative design and hope to see it featured in the coverage!
So apparently trampoline is an Olympic sport? Interesting. For some reason this building kind of looks a little trampoline-y so it kind of makes sense this is where those events will be held.
It looks like a giant meringue up close and a giant mattress from far away, but in fact, this is the venue for the basketball games. I think even I'd enjoy seeing a game here!
If you have tickets to something going on here, you are one lucky spectator. This is going to be one of the major focal points of the games, hosting both the opening and closing ceremonies!
This is going to be a truly spectacular summer in London and across the UK. The spectacle of the Olympics and the global character it represents is a rare treat.

Now this is going to be a stunner! The equestrian events are going to take place right here (not to mention some running events). How gorgeous is that going to be???

This stadium will be used to host some of the football games. Interestingly enough one of those games will be a women's game held before the opening ceremonies.
Yup, you guessed it! Yet another football/soccer venue! Amazingly, officials are warning spectators to arrive at least two hours before the matches so there's time to go through security!
Now this is truly where the eyes of the world will be this summer!!! Can't imagine how exciting it must be to watch a match here. Wonder who will end up at Centre Court this time!!!
While Anglophiles are more accustomed to seeing royalty come down this famed road, this summer it will be cyclists and runners making their way past the roaring crowds.
If this field looks familiar to you it might be because this is where Kate Middleton recently hung out with the GB Olympic field hockey team. Wonder if she'll be cheering them on when they play here in the summer?
Well, this is one of the few events for which you will not need tickets as it's taking place all over the streets of London. Yes, you can see Race Walking just by hitting the streets of London!
Even for non-soccer fans, Manchester United, the team that plays here, is a familiar name. Not surprisingly football/soccer will be played here during the Olympics.
If you're into endurance sports then this is for you! In addition to hosting a number of special events for the Olympics, Hyde Park will also be the finishing area for both the triathlon and marathon events!
If all goes well this venue will look like a Southern California beach by the time the Olympics start. If things don't go well there may be some trouble--this is where beach volleyball is scheduled to be held!
You don't have to think too hard to figure out what sports will be played here. Rowing, kayaking, and paralympic rowing will take place here. Organizers expect about 30,000 people per day to be in attendance.
It may look like a plain copper box on the outside but inside it's a fiesta as you can see! This stadium will host handball (that's an Olympic sport?) and fencing.
I think it's fair to say this will be one of the most jam-packed venues of the games--it's where the football games (or soccer as we know it in the US) will be held. Since arena sponsorship is banned this will be known as City of Coventry Stadium for the games.
