A long covered walkway dating back to the 18th century and is 728 meters long.

EYE film institute

This church was built from volcanic rock in the 12th century. Amazingly, it's one of 11 built and connected by a series of passageways.

I have to admit I'm not 100% sure what this place actually is, but I want to see it. Basically I think it's a museum/resource center for architecture and architects. They have a lot of interesting programs and exhibits.

Mauritius is one of those places I've always wanted to visit--especially to see their temples. Amazing how ornate and clean it is especially considering how many people come to see it.

Supposedly this is the largest collection of Portuguese literature in the world but it's so beautiful I don't know how anyone can concentrate on reading!

Love the lines of this and how it looks completely different depending on angle. It's actually located pretty deep in the woods which somehow makes it even more mysterious.

You won't believe what this building is. OK, maybe you will. It's the National Architects Union Headquarters!

While the inside of this building leaves me a bit cold, I do love the juxtaposition of soft vs. hard here. If you find yourself in love with it you're in luck as it's actually an apartment building.

Almost doesn't look as if there's a building there, does it? Well, this is the aptly named Blur Building which sprays mist over visitors. Forgot your raincoat? No worries, they'll give you one, although it apparently tracks your movements.

This is one of the few places where I would actually take a tour, especially if you're into art deco. One of my favorite buildings in the world.

OK, I'm going to say it: This is the most beautiful art deco building on in the world. Saw my very first movie ever here--don't think I was really old enough to appreciate the architecture, though.

Believe it or not, this is actually an office building for the Longaberger Basket Company. 500 employees work here on a daily basis.

OK, so it's a little tacky. You still have to admit that it's pretty amazing. This is actually the headquarters for the Longaberger Basket Company. Must be kind of a cool place to work.

Obviously this isn't the fountain but the underpass. This can be incredibly easy to miss but make sure you don't--it's absolutely stunning in real life. If it looks familiar you might recognize it from one of SNL's racier digital shorts.

Known as "Dragon Stadium" this incredible architectural feat runs on solar power and will eventually start selling the power it makes in the off-season. Interestingly, the architects also took Feng Shui principles into consideration when drafting the design.

Amazing to think that this was built in about the 12th century.

The facade of this building is a bright patina-colored green. One of my favorites in L.A.

Be sure not to miss the Burke Brise Soleil here which opens and closes. Totally amazing.
