Took a boat ride under the Golden Gate Bridge and later drove across it. Great experience and view of San Francisco and Alcatraz..

The short segment that connects Yellowstone National Park with Grand Teton National Park. I think that description alone is probably enough to entice most people to want to make the drive.

also called the Iwo Jima memorial. One of my favs. Will have you humming, "From the walls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli..."

I've driven by this memorial a number of times, but never had the chance to stop.

Definitely take some time to walk around the mall. It's quite large, but I'd recommend heading over in the direction of the capitol, or going over to the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Memorial area.

Best zoo in the world. Take the zoo bus, there are two types, ride the one you can jump off and on throughout the zoo. The other just stops at a very few spots.

Best zoo ever, but hilly terrain, some places difficult for strollers.

Another "must see" if the weather is nice. You will swim with the fish - even turtles.

A great place for tourists to snorkle.

Big, busy place. We needed help to make our conecting flight to the other islands.

Had to fly into this airport when our airline went bankrupt and we were stranded in Maui. This was the only way we could get back as there were no more direct flights.

Of course it was open air and much smaller when I was there!

Ladies! I hope you're having a blast! Be sure to hit up North Shore and visit the little town, but also check out Sunset Beach, Ehukai Beach, and Waimea Beach. The waves should be big this time of year.
