Houses the St Vitus Cathedral which in turn houses what is my favourite stained glass window. Also houses the Chapel of St. Wenceslas and the burial places of many Bohemian kings and Holy Roman Emperors. Fantastic example of Gothic architecture.
A definite must see, this infamous castle has been the home and castle for the Hungarian Kings in Budapest. Incredible complex of chapels, museum artifacts & paintings, you won't be bored.
Ahhhh, the mere notion of an entire country that is known for the thermal baths is just heaven. Apparently many of the baths, like this one, have been around for over a hundred years.
Take a day off the slopes for a visit and practice up on your bobsledding, street luge, nordic sprint races and biathlon shooting. You'll be in the Olympics in no time. Or you can do what I did and drink beer and just ride the chairlifts. The alpine slide and zipline are a blast too.
saw a game here. it was awesome. through a connection we had front row seats. the guy sitting next to me was reading a novel the entire game. i found that perplexing.

This is the library's reading room which was called "one of the most beautiful rooms on the continent" by a popular magazine in 1927. It's also home to one of the world's largest books which is kept under a glass case.
