When I had the sandwich there I said, this is the best sandwich I've ever had. I still think it's the best sandwich I ever had. The line wasn't too long but even if it's an hour wait, it's worth it. The lady also gave me some free samples for wearing a Supersonics shirt hahah
International bulk spices and Middle Eastern specialty items. Thirty varieties of dried whole chilies and chili powder and 180 varieties of imported tea.
One of the best restaurants in the world. A real foodie place, but if you want an interesting high end experience, many foodie people I trust say its one of the best restaurant experiences they've ever had. Reservations needed far in advance.
Good food, great wine choices and really fun ambiance, especially at the bar. This is a great choice for reasonably priced five-course lunch, and even better if you get the wine pairings.
the unbelievably inexpensive Michelin starred new dim sum place that everybody is talking about. Arrive early and be prepared to wait on line. First come first served.
Dine at the counter at this updated version of a mid-century diner. Food is anything but ordinary-- the beef dishes are spectacular, but the roasted acorn squash curry proves that vegetarian dishes can pack a lot of punch. Order the yogurt with dill syrup and cherries for dessert. Sounds weird, but Dine at the counter at this updated version of a mid-century diner. Chef/owner Isaac Becker took home the James Beard Award for Best Chef Midwest in 2011, but his food at 112 Eatery has been buzz-worthy for years. Open late, it’s a favorite after-hours hangout for other chefs in the neighborhood.

Place de Madeline is a must-stop for me, and every I go, I head straight to Paris at the Maison de la Truffe for, you guessed it, truffles. It’s umami heaven.
Sushi Mizutani is hidden in the basement of an office building. It's hard to find and even harder to get a table. Take it from me though, the search is worth it.
Scoring a table at Joel Robuchon is reason to celebrate—hey, it’s not every day you get to eat food from the “Chef of the Century.” If you can swing it, opt for the Menu Degustation. The price tag is nothing to sneeze at, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Nothing like standing in line for thirty minutes to drink cafe au lait and eat hot, fried dough by the humid riverbank. Makes me sweat just thinking about it. Much better to go in the winter, when hot snacks outdoors are a welcome treat.
Chef Doug Flicker does small plates with a purpose. Everything you order here will make for three to five bites of the most thoughtful dishes you’ve had in a while-- perfectly crafted without even a dash of filler insight. I love the pork hocks with soft eggs. It’s a dish I dream about.
