Surprisingly few restaurants are open in the wee hours of the morning, but at FEBO, you can get a veal dog at 2 AM for 1 Euro.

amsterdam has some great entertainment. and it might not be well know but that have some excellent improv comedy. some of the best troupes from the us are sent there for special shows.

't Smalle is a perfect spot to sit alongside the canal and watch the world go by. Seemed everyone had a sandwich and a beer here so I followed suit. Worked like a charm.

all i kept reading about was the indonesian food in amsterdam. it was unique and like nothing i've ever tried. lots and lots of tiny dishes. but it didn't disappoint.

i went to a soccer match hear. drank beers in the parking lot. stood for two hours during the game. did the chants. the game ended in a 0 - 0 tie. enjoyed it though.

This is actually located in the City Opera House (also known as the Stopera). It is symbolic of the Jewish community that used to be here before World War II.
