Nobu is such a well known name i almost feel obligated to go here. The food is good, but there is something about the place that doesn't make seem as special as Nobu should be.... maybe because it's in the Hard Rock Hotel. I've also found the staff to be on the snobby side. But as far as sushi in Nobu is such a well known name i almost feel obligated to go here. This is in the Wynn. Expensive, but if you want to splurge one night, it's a good choice. Get a seat outside so you can watch the psychedelic show in the pond
If you're staying at the Cosmopolitan, this is nearby in the City Center. It's a Michael Mina restaurant so food is great, but here is the call. Go for happy hour. They have a happy hour menu with $4 items, but of which is an open faced prime rib sandwich. Off the charts! The is the best buffet I've been to in Vegas. I LOVED IT. It was worth every dollar! Make sure you go hungry, and take your time! No rush eating at the newest buffet on the strip.
Inside the COSMO...went here for my Thanksgiving feast last year. Best buffet in town. I tried to stick with the more traditional Thanksgiving spreads of turkey, cranberry, and dressing, but then realized that I was only fooling myself, so I moved on to King Crab and sushi.
If you find yourself downtown and you want to play blackjack... this is the spot. It's downtown and dirty, but they have the most liberal rules in vegas. you can spit and resplit aces, you can double down on your first 4 cards, and they even give you 6 card charlie (if you draw 6 cards on any handIf you find yourself downtown and you want to play blackjack... this is the spot. most random meal you'll have in vegas. This is VERY old school steakhouse and it's inside Circus Circus. If your group wants to try something random, this is it. Steaks are great, but you'll feel like you're dining back in the 60's. We were here once on a bachelor party years ago. There are most random meal you'll have in vegas. My colleague always recommends this place. It's a museum not too far from the strip that houses all of Vegas' old hotel signs. It's a sign graveyard/junkyard -- but apparently it's pretty cool because you see all of the hotels that have come and gone on the strip. Never been, let me know if you go.
This is some good clean fun for a bachelor party. it's just across the freeway from the Bellagio. Worth it if you guys are too hung over. With a group of 8 you can probably get a whole race to yourselves.
My favorite part about the Wynn is it has a golf course. My least favorite part about the Wynn is it's golf course is like 500 bucks. But it's the only hotel on the strip that offers that.
