The view of this from far away is just amazing. It looks like someone took a giant chainsaw and just cut a whole city down the middle.

Zakynthos Island was written about by the infamous writer and poet Homer in his masterpieces, the Iliad and the Odyssey. The "Blue Caves" are only accesible by boat and are cut into cliffs around Cape Skinari.

Sadly, the monastery was badly looted during WWII by Germans.

The Plaka is the oldest city in Athens and is right in the "shade" of the Acropolis. Mostly for tourists, apparently it still has a few gems of artisan style shops. Great place to wander for postcards.

This is actually a pretty big complex, but their villas are totally private. The spa here is breathtaking and the treatments available just go on and on.
