Dying to try this place--aside from just being gorgeous I've heard the food is incredible.

Old school Savannah restaurant. Cool spot. The bar downstairs normally has someone playing on the grand piano. Very southern-feeling spot.

I gave up my beloved Diet Coke a few years ago but I think the tour here would be perfect because there is something called the "Happiness Factory." Okay you got me, there is still no greater happiness than a slice of pizza and a Diet Coke.

The head on this sculpture separates and spins around for a pretty incredible show.

So 14 tons of groovy! Love that this is mirrored and has its own webcam. Definitely going to check that out. Part of the Whitehall Corporate Center in Charlotte. Artist is Czech sculptor David Černý.

This is such an exciting sculpture--the pieces that comprise the head actually swivel around so the head changes shape.

Has the feel of a 50's diner. Best drunk food you can get your hands on and the one downtown is open till like 1 AM on the weekend. I think there's one at the airport now too.

When you think of the marine life, you think of Atlanta, right? No, but this is one of the better aquariums I've visited. And for an extra price, they offer a host of other fun activities like swimming with sharks...if you call that fun.

This is known locally as "The Gingerbread House" and was built in 1899. I'm not a huge fan of this style but I have to admit this place has charm. This is part of the city's Victorian district which is a huge priority for me!

stopped here on a road trip across the country. nice grounds. interesting history. worth seeing. not bad thing to do if you're in hot lanta.
