I've got to admit when it comes to hotels I'm a bit of a snob. I love a luxury hotel and the Five Seasons Hotel George V in Paris far exceeds my expectations. The rooms are beautiful and decorated in Parisian style.
Over Christmas/New Years they have an ice skating rink in the courtyard. Very cool to see kiddies ice skating while their parents had a drink in the hall.
This is, and has been for several years, THE store of the moment in Paris and has a "too hip for the room" vibe that I find dull. They carry what you would expect them to carry--books of "edgy" photographs, Stella McCartney dresses, and blah, blah, blah. I could bounce between the Costes, L'Avenue and Le Societe all day long! I love the americanized french food and the people watching. I especially love the courtyard at the Costes. It's one of my favorite spots to meet all of my friends when I'm in town for Fashion Week.

I'd love to recommend this restaurant but every time I try to go it's closed. I'm not kidding. Every time. One time I was walking up to it and they closed the doors right on me.
