this place is cool. If you find time, it's worth a stop for a drink. It's the "oldest wine bar" in London they claim. It's underneath the street in a almost a speakeasy feeling basement... kind of like catacombs. I think Rudyard Kipling used to drink there... IF i could only remember... IF... getthis place is cool. We heard this was the nicest Indian food in London so we went. It was way too fancy for us... It's got at least one Michelin star. The dining room didn't have windows... pretty stuffy. I'm sure if you're a real Indian foodie, you'd dig it though.
You won't get major exercise from this but you'll sure get some great scenery. Most people bring picnics along and stop by the side of the river. Sounds like something out of a Merchant- Ivory movie, doesn't it?
One of the highlights of our trip to Cambridge... actually the entire London trip. It was a lot of fun and easy (as long as you hire someone to do the punting for you.)
