Not only would you be walking near the end of the earth here, but you would be in good company since it is heavily traveled by birds of prey. Best time to go is between December & Feb. Weather pretty intense the rest of the year.

The colonial city of Valparaíso presents an excellent example of late 19th-century urban and architectural development in Latin America. In its natural amphitheatre-like setting, the city is characterized by a vernacular urban fabric adapted to the hillsides. One of 5 World Heritage Sites in Chile!

If you're looking for an off-beat place to stay while you're here, this lodge is a great choice. The rooms look like something the Keebler Elves would live in and the waters are said to contain healing properties.

What a fantastic place for a lodge. The water here is said to be incredibly pure and healing and the incredible part is that it is considered to be forest dwelling of sorts and much of the natural water carves through the trees. Serene.

This is a gorgeous little 45-room hostel. Not snazzy but relatively inexpensive in comparison to other hotels in the park.
