Not surprisingly there aren't a lot of diving spots in Belgium, so someone decided to create one. Nemo 33 is actually the deepest diving spot in the world and they hold everything there from swimming lessons to weddings.

What's a city landmark without a statue of a peeing boy??? Lots of stories on this one, the most colorful was something about a fuse and a bomb and a lot of ingenuity from a little boy.
This probably won't come as a big surprise to anyone, but the flower carpet tradition was started by the owner of a begonia company. Amazingly, once the basic outline is put in place, it takes workers only four hours to put the flowers in place!
