This gorgeous resort actually has an on-site chapel if a beach wedding doesn't suit you but you want the scenery. Rooms and spa are glam but very tasteful.
A bit of a legend in the infinity pool world, the two-level pool here offers the ultimate swimming-to-the-edge experience. As if this weren’t enough of a thrill, all the rooms and suites here have their own mini-infinity pool that hovers right over the surrounding rain forest.
Att the Ayung Spa they don't have mere rooms, they have villas and suites! Personally, I'm inclined to start at the spa instead and have the coconut & rice scrub. My plan after that is to end up in this pool. And then okay, I guess I'll go to the villa.
Jukungs abound in Denpasar and they're used by local fishermen. The boats carry a lot of symbolism with them, most based in religion. Even the tree from which the boat is made needs to be cut down on a certain date. Eyes are usually painted on the boat to ward off evil.
What happens when an Italian designer infiltrates Bali? You guessed it, a 70's inspired seducing, come hither tropical hideaway. Interesting concept "villa" that is all about fashion, glamour & sensual color.
This temple is dedicated to the God of Water (Wisnu) and the Balinese believe that water is one of the forces of life. Apparently the waters here come from a natural source so they are clear & inspiring. Enjoy.
