In downtown Tempe, right in the heart of ASU. Great burger joint where you can watch them grill right in front of you...or watch the coeds walk by on Mill Ave. Reminder to bring cash as they don't take plastic.

This volcano has an interesting connection to Hollywood. In 1929 it was almost dynamited by a film studio to create an avalanche for a scene in a movie. It was only because of the protests of local residents that it was protected.

Love Phoenix! Great city with an awesome culture and lots of outdoor activites, but it's stinking hot in the summer. The locals try to make it sound better by saying it's a dry heat. My oven is a dry heat too, and you can bake a 15 pound turkey in it!

In the centert of campus, there is a long stretch of palm trees called 'Palm Walk'. Take a stroll down it...it's pretty neat.

Pink Jeep Tours truly offer up a thrill ride. Found myself holding on tight as the one currying me climbed over all sorts of red rocks on back roads. The guide educated our group on the area and wove a great story.
