This is my favorite place to watch the fireworks. Most people crowd up on main street or even post up next to the castle, and when the show starts -- they're constantly looking upwards. If you hang near the station and find a spot right outside on the patio/stairs, you're actually eye level with theThis is my favorite place to watch the fireworks. They definitely aren't kidding on this ride because odds are high (very high) that you will be splashed. Best to leave the silk and hairspray in the car. Great ride.
You definitely have to get FASTPASS tickets as soon as you get to the California Adventure park (they're free, but on a first-come, first serve basis), unless you plan to purchase a dinner package (which might be better if your'e with the family). Steve martin used to play the banjo right here. If you eat at the restaurant in New Orleans square they have a live jazz band that will entertain you while you eat and people watch!
