This is my favorite place to watch the fireworks. Most people crowd up on main street or even post up next to the castle, and when the show starts -- they're constantly looking upwards. Another must. The wait's not that bad, plus you'll be in the shade most of the time if it's a hot day.

They definitely aren't kidding on this ride because odds are high (very high) that you will be splashed. Best to leave the silk and hairspray in the car. Great ride.

You definitely have to get FASTPASS tickets as soon as you get to the California Adventure park (they're free, but on a first-come, first serve basis), unless you plan to purchase a dinner package (which might be better if your'e with the family). One of my favorite rides. I noticed that the guy in the video before you get on the ride does the voice of 'Joe' on Family Guy.

if you go to disneyland on your birthday they do some special things for you. including give you a big button with your name on it

Steve martin used to play the banjo right here. If you eat at the restaurant in New Orleans square they have a live jazz band that will entertain you while you eat and people watch!
