Managed to even do the tour last year, well worth it if you can get tickets.

spent a strange night here watching the opera Carmen from the street outside the old Roman Colosseum drinking straight from an unmarked bottle of wine - I loved it!

venice is an incredible city! You arrive by boat and can see the water washing up on the side of the city like waves coming up on the shore. the architecture is amazing, every hotel, restaurant and shop. the food is amazing here. If you're in Belmont Shore, forget about the fancy spots on 2nd street and go here - cash only but there is no better place around

It's a little outside of Long Beach, but it's still my favorite Chinese place around. We drive well out of our way to go here.

This is so fun - takes you around the canals that are down by Mother's Beach in LB. Super romantic - but we've also done it with friends & family who were in from out of town. Might not be appropriate for Valentine's Day (although it would be my ideal Valentine's spot =P ) but this location has good service and more seating than other Roscoe's locations.

We'll take our dogs when its overcast during the week - otherwise it's just too crowded with too many amateur dog owners who freak out if dogs start playing.

I hear this place is amazing and a great activity for the kids

Never gets old, no matter how many times you go. Great stop.

Finally went this past weekend and it was fun - completely packed but plenty of fish to see. Decided not to bring my in laws here because of the big climate change exhibit - they don't believe in it.

Definitely take some time to walk around the mall. It's quite large, but I'd recommend heading over in the direction of the capitol, or going over to the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Memorial area.

Such a beautiful park located right on San Francisco Bay. I always want to watch a homer fly into the water. If you’re here you’ve got to try the Gilroy Garlic Fries. There is nothing like them anywhere else. Warning: they've got some kick!

Planning to go here in September.

As much as I hate the Giants, I have to say that I love this park. (And I really, really hate the Giants.)

Too bad the Mariners play here.

The Mariners are terrible, but this is a great park. Just bundle up because it's almost always freezing

The hotel was great, but you do need to take a boat to get to anywhere on the island (as you do from all the good resorts). Was particularly amused by the half price happy hour drinks for *only* $10.
